little cuzies.

so my sister mel put the babies in the toy strollers today and it was the cutest dang thing ever. they just sat there and posed. of course we hurry and did it while bentley and alex were out of the room, because you know for sure they would think it was cool and want to try it. real babies are more fun to push around! and just look at little reesers face in the bottom picture, oh my goodness!

random but oh so cute.

i love love them. they were both wearing green the other day (not on purpose) and i had to take a picture!

memorial weekend

This is my sister Tami's cute family. They all went on a hike and Jeff got this family photo shot at the top. They are all so cute I can't stand it.

shadow...

So we went on a walk the other night and my cute Bent discovered her shadow. It was the cutest dang thing. She was chasing it and trying to figure out what it was. It was like a game to her as she laughed and tried to jump on it. I just love her so much. She has this infectious smile and laugh that gets me every time. The past few weeks have been so wonderful with her. She has stopped attacking Reese and has become quite the helper. Every time Reese cries she is the first one there giving her her binky. In the morning when I bring Bentley down stairs she immediately looks around the room for her. I think she finally loves her little sister. She is just getting so smart, she makes us laugh at the things she figures out. Still not talking, but one day hopefully soon she will get it! I can't get enough of her these days!

And my beautiful baby Reese. I can't get enough of her as well. She has grown so much already. I love that she smiles back at us now. The things she loves already is t.v. and herself in the mirror. Things Bentley never cared about. It is so much fun seeing her personality already, oh we love her. And I love her especially because she looks identical to my baby pictures. Bentley is all Jeff and Reese is all me and I love it!
This Mother's Day I am so grateful to be a mom to these wonderful, beautiful little girls. I hope I can raise them to live a wonderful happy life!

mother's day delivery

Aren't my two little girls the best! They sent me these gorgeous flowers today. It was a lovely surprise delivery!

blessing day

We just blessed Reese on Sunday and it went really well. She pretty much just slept all day, we were lucky to not have a screaming baby during the blessing.

This is the only picture we got of Bentley, she was being a stinker.

Jeff's mom Sandy flew in from California, it is always so good to have her here!

Here is my mom with Reese and my dad with her below.

My dad loves his babies! He is holding Reese on the left and Mel's baby Samantha on the right. So cute.

first date.

Sad to say but this is the only picture I got while visiting the Egan's in Missouri. My camera died. But isn't this just precious? Ike and Reese were having tender moments. Luckily I got it before Reese started crying. Ike is the easiest baby, never ever cries. Lucky Annie!

liv's birthday party

As you can see Bent had a grand old time eating cupcakes and playing on the blow up slide. I think everyone had a blast, it was a great idea!

back to the bottle

We were done with the bottle but some how she coaxed us into giving it back. I think it has to do with needing some special comfort since Reese has arrived. Oh well I say... what's it going to hurt?

The Kirklands New Addition

My sister Mel had her baby on Sunday morning at 6am. Little Samantha Kate.

She has blonde hair! Who would of ever guessed they would have a blonde haired baby? It might be strawberry, we can't tell yet. She has the same eyes as Alex but other than that we can't tell who she looks like.

Holding her sis for the first time.

5 weeks apart. Reese seemed so big all the sudden, not so newborn. Best cousins all ready!

Bryn holding Reese. She will be the best babysitter.

These two girls love their cousin Parker and he LOVES them!

Easter and Such...

All dressed up for Easter Sunday.

We had Easter dinner at Mel and Chris's house. The evening started with the egg hunt.

Bentley wasn't really excited about it until I showed her what was inside the eggs.

This was at our neighborhood egg hunt, I love it!

Hanging out with Gramps on Easter.

My dad LOVES babies! Reese has had some good quality time with her grandpa already.

How can you not love that face! A little naughty at times but we love her.

So sweet and innocent when sleeping.

We are working on the sister love, I think Reese is scared of her. Could they look any different?

so precious!

Jeff took this picture in the hospital right before we left. It is my favorite. Isn't she so sweet!

happy birthday bentley.

My Bentley girl just turned 2 on March 6th. It's crazy looking back at how small she started out.

My favorite time with her in NICU was holding her tummy to tummy.

Leaving the hospital 7 weeks later at 4 lbs.

So big now and full of life!

Her favorite thing to do lately is drag her chair into the kitchen and pull EVERYTHING out of the silverware drawer. She does it every single day.

She has absolutely no interest in t.v. but books she loves.

She got her first bath in the kitchen sink the other day and thought it was the coolest thing ever!

We had a little birthday get together on her birthday with some family and friends. It was the night that Reese was put under the lights for jaundice so I was running late to my own party and forgot my camera. I feel bad that I didn't capture the party. It was a lot of fun and Bentley got a lot of cool presents. Thank you to everyone that came and made Bentley's birthday a special day.

the first week home.

Jeff was washing her hair and she loved it. She was as calm as can be.

Bentley wanted to help with some things when she came home. Now she wants nothing to do with her but try and pull her out of the swing and bouncer. I have to have hawk eyes with this little two year old.

All clean and tuckered out.

Reese's first tanning experience. She had jaundice pretty bad the first week so we had to put her under the lights for one day. She didn't seem to mind it. I thought the eye covers would freak her out but no no. She slept so sound in that thing.

My little girls!!
