beauty parlor and potty training...

Bentley had a busy day painting her toenails, my toenails, and Grandma's toenails. She did it with lip gloss, but to her it was definitely multi-purpose.


Mommy's toes. She did a really good job not getting it on the carpet.

Grandma was not aware that I told Bentley to go paint her nails too, so she took it away thinking she was making a big mess. That is why the sad face right here. I made Grandma give it back so she could finish the job. And it was a job well done!

She then proceeded to the lips. With such concentration she got Grandma all dolled up for the day.

We have TRIED to get her potty trained but no such luck. Maybe we will put it off until she can actually communicate to us with words. She just likes to sit on it and feel cool.

the Hamptons.

Jeff was in New York a couple weeks ago with his sister Nicole and his niece Kinley. They were there for a party in the Hamptons that Nicole had to attend for business. It was a pretty celeb filled affair. They sat at the table with P Diddy and his girlfriend. Kinley sat by herself at a table with the New York Governor. Jeff said she had the whole table, including the Governor, in stitches. She had no fear to talk to anyone. People were shocked when they found out she was only fifteen!

first bites.

Reese had her first bites of rice cereal and LOVED it. Although her tummy did NOT love it because she screamed in agony for about an hour or so after. It was sad, you could tell she was in pain! Poor baby. I just love her so much. She is so smiley and getting very vocal. I think she loves her voice. She is rolling from her back to tummy all the time now. Some times she can get back over to back. We are just so enjoying her!



And what can I say about her... she is the love of our lives!!

lazy dayz

I love this! Bentley was just so pooped playing out side.









Of course we must have a Sonic diet coke with VANILLA on a hot summer day! And no Bent does not regularly drink my diet coke.. it was just so hot out side.

I have been trying to get my mom to work on her tan. As you can see she hasn't been cooperating. I guess it's too hot when your all tied up in an arm sling. My poor mom just had rotator cuff surgery on her shoulder.

obsession

Bentley is obsessed with roller luggage. She walked around the block a few times rollering her luggage. She thought she was the coolest person alive!

what do we do about this?

Bentley has been climbing out of her crib for some time now. We just lock her door so she can't come out and then unlock it and check on her before we go to bed. It sounds so cruel I know, but we have to or she will keep coming out. She doesn't cry, she will just play with her toys or pull her clothes out of her dresser and try to change. But I think what happens is she plays for a while and by the time she goes to get back in the crib it is much darker and she can't see where to climb. This is what she resorts to... falling asleep on the floor. Usually we find her up against the door asleep, but this night we came in and looked around the floor, no Bentley. We looked in her crib, no Bentley. I was panicked for about a second, thinking where the heck is she. Then Jeff got down and looked under her crib. I have no idea what possessed her to fall asleep under her crib right up against the wall. She is such a monkey. What do we do with her? I think we are way over due for a big girl bed.


Of course she was a little startled when we had to pull her out. She didn't want to go in her bed so Jeff let her sleep in ours.

we love floaties.

We went to the pool with Egan's while they were in town. Elle was quite the fishy. She kept trying to float on her back is was so funny.

Bentley was trying to be cool like Elle but couldn't get there quite as well.

She is so happy at the pool! I love her face!

Ladd was entertaining them of course and setting them up cute for a photo op. The cute boy is Elle's little cousin.

Dinner with Friends.

Ladd and Annie were in town so for Ladd's birthday we all went to the DoDo for dinner. It was fun to all get together and have some laughs!

I love this picture of Katie and Annie, they both look so pretty. Jeff was the one taking the picture, he was not being cooperative so that's why Annie is cut off.

this is what happens when...

you have tummy time right after you eat. then you get ignored for a little while and end up looking like this, barf on the hair and face! Poor little Reese.
