Do I look old??

Cause I sure feel old!

I can't sleep anymore, my alarm clock in my brain goes off at 3am
even though I told it to wait til 7.

The thousands of dollars in facial products on my counter are not
doing a damn thing!

I sit around for hours on end watching re-runs of Dr 90210 and
thinking to myself, yes that looks good.... I need that!

The magazines that I buy now have to include articles about "turning
back the clock by 10 years" or how to make fine lines disappear.

Do I look old? - because I sure feel old.

Once there was a chef...

...and his name was Bob. He was REALLY into making pizza
(it was his newest thing).
He loved making them so much that he made SEVEN pizza's for his own birthday party.
(check out the mess! we always dread the MESS!)

And they all were very gourmet, piled with gourmet toppings.

Of course family showed up because we don't miss Bob's food EVER.
Mom and Matt enjoyed a few pieces.

Me and Jeff were there to celebrate and boy did we eat!

Tami and Dave came with their crew.

Mel and Chris of course hosted the event.

Lori and Glenn mingled.

Reese ate the pizza and pea's and candy.

We snapped a shot of the girls.

(Because we were already segregated into boy/girl groups.
We always do that at party's. Silly. )

Do i look fat and stressed cause i am...

I don't know what it is!?!?! Im sitting there eating a bowl of ice cream while
my mom and jared call me chunky monkey. I know that if i don't stop i'll regret
it but i just can't!

I don't know what it is my body just likes sugar right now. All night thats all
i think about... "what am i gonna eat when i wake up".... then i wake up and i
can't stop eating. My baby is gonna come out so hyper but my body just likes
it.

Then i stand on the scale and see that i have gained 30 pounds and i still have
like 12 more weeks to go. I cry to jared but he doesn't care cause he knows
what my problem is.... i can't stop the ice cream!!!!!!

Then i go to my closet and try to find something that will fit my fat @%* and i
just stand there and want to cry because everything i bought for maternity im
already FREAKIN' grown out of...!

do i look tired?

Cause I am.
I have a problem and the problem is this...

My baby is teething and not just one tooth but a couple good ones.
She has been running a fever in the night and that makes her one cranky babe.

The other thing is ...
that I stay up late because I want to... even though my body doesn't want to.

It is just in me to want to stay up late. I don't know why.
I just do.

I like to stay up when there is peace and quiet
(meaning everyone is asleep, husband and kids)
and watch MY shows on the DVR.
or
Stay up with my piece and quiet room and look at stupid blogs my friends tell me about.
K, their not stupid cause if they were I wouldn't be looking at them.

Then when I FINALLY decide I am ready for bed...
I just can't fall asleep because my back hurts.

I guess tension and stress likes to build up in my back and create the biggest knots known to man kind.

Then...
I finally fall asleep and the next thing I know Reese is crying.
It is 2 am.
I finally get her to fall back asleep and before I know it I hear her crying again.
I look at the clock and it is 6 am. damn.

I tell Jeff to take over but he can't cause he HAS to leave.
Work out or something. Or work, which ever.

"I am so tired" I cry to him.
And we all know I am NOT a morning person.

But he doesn't feel bad for me even a little bit cause he knows my problem.

I can not get my self to bed at a DECENT HOUR!

she just loves reese so much!

Bentley just loves to be the mommy. She washes Reese's hair with soap or lotion, what ever she can find. And Reese most of the time just sits there and lets the sis do this to her.
It use to be done to just her dolls. Lotion all over, the hair, the arms, legs...
But now it's Reese.
The dolls were not enough.

New Year's 2009!

Bentley can't miss a party. So she rang in the new year with us. Sipping on some bubbly! Reese was fast asleep in bed.

Christmas Part One

My camera battery went out half way through the night Christmas Eve. So this is all I got on my camera. We spent the night at the Morgan's. The festivities started with sledding (which we missed), then food, then cousin (homemade) present exchange, then sibling tribute letter exchange, Christmas program, more food, open pj's and then the kids to bed while the Santa's helpers set up.
We started some new tradition's this year. The homemade kid exchange, which I didn't really want to do at first, but it was so much fun to see what everyone made. Everyone was really creative! The other new tradition was tribute letters to all the siblings. Every year we will have someone new to write to until we write everyone in the family. Mel's idea of coarse. I really enjoyed reading all the letters. It was a good bonding experience, something that every family needs.

This is my favorite because this is Bentley with big girl panties on showing some crack! I thought the potty training was going pretty well but we are now going on a week and a half of constant reminding. It just might not be time. Dang it!

We had such a great Christmas this year. Surprisingly it wasn't caotic.

What is it about Christmas that makes you so lazy? I just can't get myself to clean today.

Getting in the Christmas spirit.

We spent Sunday at the Morgan's. My dad started a holiday tradition this year. We all got together and made Honduran Tamales. I was pretty dang good at rolling them. I have to admit mine looked the best! Ha ha. It was such a fun activity and I hope to do again next year!

Reese and Bentley had a little dance party with Grandpa. They both LOVE to dance.

At the end of the night we have a little accident. Bentley thought it would be fun to pull a stocking down that was hanging by a big weighted hook on the mantle. The hook landed right on her face and gave her a good gash. We hurry and put a band aid on it and left it alone. It might of needed a stitch or two but Jeff protested. I think he was right to not run to the E.R. because it is healing just fine. Poor Bent.

I had my little helper while I made some Christmas cookies. Bentley mostly just liked eating the dough. Who doesn't?

I made Jeff get in on the action and help. He did a fabulous job decorating!

Christmas party

Santa left all the kids presents at the door in a big sack with a letter. Grandma Sue read it to everyone.

I don't know who likes feeding the ducks more out of my dad, Bentley or Reese. But it is kind of fun to brave the cold and throw those aggressive ducks their snacks.

Reese likes getting right in the action. She doesn't even flinch.

Bentley eventually scares them all off by trying to kick them.
