Beach at Daybreak.

My sister Mel lives in Daybreak so we take advantage of all the fun things to do over there, like playing on the lake beach.

The kids love it. We spend hours there.

Reese loves to dig.

Mel's little one Samantha sporting her hip head band.

Jo, Mel and me.

Binky send off.

Getting her last fix!

We were way over due to get rid off the binky so we decided it was time to send them up in the sky to the birdies.
Bent has a LOVE for animals. Birds being one of them. It was easy telling her that the baby birds needed her binkies more than her.

So off they went.

A stupid mom and unruly wind led the balloons to the telephone wires.

Plan ruined.

Now she has to be reminded of the dang binkies every time she looks out the window.

She did get over it. It took a couple days but she did stop asking for them.

Watching the balloons blow away.

Tri in Midway

Jeff did a triathlon up in midway a few weeks ago.
The girls, my dad and I raced up there to see him finish...

had we not stopped at Mcdonald's for my dad we would have made it in time.

We were TWO minutes late!

It is so pretty and peaceful up there... I love it!

St. George

We decided to get out of the crappy weather and take a quick trip down to St. George with our friends the Gaoirans.

We though we would sit by the pool everyday and soak up the sun... but the sun did not come out most of the weekend so we resorted to other activities.
Like playing at the play ground.

Bent and Jeff on a nature walk.

Reese trying the monkey bars.

Reese could swing all day. It sooths her. And Bent loves to be the big sis and push her.

The last day was the nicest so we went and played at the pool.

Just lounging in the sun and eating some snacks.

The weekend was so nice just relaxing and playing with good company.
It made me realize we have to get away more often!
It is good for the soul.

in the wee hours...

This was me and Reese at 2 A.M.

This was us at 3 A.M.

Looking a little more tired... this is us now at freaking 4 in the morning!!!
(all thanks to the three molars that are cutting through her gums all at once.)

Isn't it a blast being a mom sometimes?

And this is a little something from the photo booth archives.
Gotta love him!

Birthday Tea Party.

Alex just turned 3 and had quite the tea party to celebrate!

Mel went all out with the decor...of coarse.

Each gal got a feather hat and a necklace.

Waiting for other guest's to arrive.
Bentley and Alex may or may not have snuck a few cupcakes before the party started.

Samantha Kate ready to party in her best party dress.
So presh!

Mother's Day at the Park.

We spent Mother's day in the wonderful weather.
My whole family met at the park and picnicked.

This was the main attraction for Bentley. She was loving the scooter rides with cousin "Narnar".

Jo was getting in on the action too.

Bent dragging "oof" along. She is way too obsessed with dogs.
Can NOT get enough of them.
Too bad her dad will NEVER have one.

The babes were loving the slide.
Reese was trying to climb up it all day.

Me and my hub.

Jeff and Parker were having a competition who could get more air jumping off the swings...
well you can see who clearly won.
Parker is amazingly athletic, he is crazy on ski's.

Can not get enough of those luscious lips.

i love this girl!

Me and Caitlin Hansen (soon to be West)

Our dear friend Hugh is marring Caitlin in a few weeks and I couldn't be more excited! Hugh you picked a good one!

My baby walking.

Reese just started walking two weeks ago. This video was the first week. She still walks like a little penguin and I love it!

Day at the mall.

Reese and Sam enjoying mine and Mel's smoothies.

The girls loved the carousel.
We weren't prepared, we could only scrounge up a few quarters so Bentley and Alex could at least ride it each once. Reese wanted to go for a ride so bad, so I will have to go back and take her.

Alex and Bent were making us laugh trying to strut around in these heels.
Alex was workin it!
