just a few things.

*I know they look like trees. I was going for spring.
My cousin in Canada introduced me to these. She has been making them and putting them on her blog so I had to try them.

They are cake pops and they are amazing.
It is yummy super dense, moist cake inside a candy shell.
Now I am addicted and I will be attempting the HELLO KITTY ones.
Although I dont know if i am that talented.

Guess who would have eaten all of them if I let her?

I ended up taking them to Bunco.
I had to share them!
....

THIS is the other project I did last week.
It was intense.
I don't think I could do it again.
Very technical.
But it turned out too cute.

Mel of coarse was the one that found out how to do it.
So it was craft day at Mel's.
ALLLLLLLL day.

Bent's room has been so bare, so now
she loves having something to look at before bed!

life so far with her.

I know my posts these days are long but I just had to talk about our Bentley girl on her 3RD birthday.

She only weighed 2 1/2 pounds when she was born and spent 7 weeks in the hospital.
I hated leaving her behind every day.

Holding her was the highlight of my life!

First night home.

She was such a little doll.... but seemed so big after 7 weeks.

Six months later she chunked right up.

At one she loved to get into mischief.
But we couldn't get mad at that face!

Her daddy was in love from from the beginning.

At two she was still naughty but still our little angel.
We just love her to pieces!

The things she values most in life is her BINKY and BLANKEY.

She has always loved being out side no matter the weather.
Here she wanted to be cool like the boys and pee in the trees while we were up the canyon.

Now she is three and I can't wait to see what she becomes. This year I am excited to see her personality shine even more as her speech progresses.
Maybe she will even grow out of her naughtiness... (maybe!).

For her birthday breakfast we made her favorite food... pancakes.
(Who doesn't love carbs and sugar?)

Bensy we love you so much!

My baby is 1 today!

It is hard to believe that a little over a year ago I was stuck in the hospital for FOUR and a half long weeks on bed rest, waiting for this little one to arrive!

It was such a small sacrifice.
(Hang in there Patty)

Reese at six months with daddy.

And my little princess today at one years old.
***

Life was a little rough at first with two.
But we worked out the kinks and now I wouldn't trade it for anything!

At one Reese is so much fun and full of personality.

She
LOVES talking on the phone.

Loves saying "mmmmmatt!" (uncle matt)

Points at everything and has something to say about it.
(In her own jibberish language)

Has seven teeth. Four on top and three on bottom.

Has thick full dark brown hair.

Bites sister when sister steals her stuff.

Loves to eat. Hence round chubby face!

And loves to dance to any beat.

We love her so much and can not get enough of her!

Happy Birthday baby girl!

.....

I have been thinking about posting a comparison of mine and Reese's baby pictures for ever and finally remembered to do it.

Most everyone knows Reese looks more like me than Jeff but a lot of people ask me where she got her dark long hair from. Her hair is what catches everyone's attention.

Well this is where....

birthday celebrations.

Since Bentley and Reese have birthday's 6 days apart we decided to celebrate them both over the weekend.
We started with Build-a-Bear.
And of course Bent's pick was the dog "oof".
Her favorite thing in there was washing it. She could of been there all night.

Poor Reese was so bored.
But just look at that sweet face! I could just eat her!

Bent tried to walk her dog through the mall. She was getting a little frustrated that "oof" kept falling over as she dragged him along.
.....

Saturday we went to the Discovery at the Gateway with some friends.

I cant believe I have never taken them there. It was so much fun!

Jeff thought he was so cool climbing the kiddie wall.
Seriously... what a cheeseball!

.....

Then later that night was the Pizza Party with family.
Homemade pizza, cupcakes and presents...
it doesnt get much better than that!

Best cousins. Bentley and Alex.
They are almost three months apart.

Singing to the Birthday gals.

One candle for Reese and 3 for Bents.
(ok these cupcakes were fabulous. I talked Annie into sharing her secret recipe!)

Bentley licking her plate clean.

Reese finishing up on hers.

The loot.

She is obsessed with shoes.
The Morgan's gave her these "Hello Kitty" rain boots and she could not have been more excited!
She loved all the presents she got... even Reese's.
There have already been fights over the Stroller.

Tam got her this walker/stroller so that she will start walking!

back to our friends in missouri.

The visit started off with Ladd playing the good ole' horsey game with the kids.

Ike was in LOVE with Reese. He kept tackling her to give her smooches.
Then we would catch him softly
caressing her back.
Cute little love birds!

Annie, me, Kace and Elle
We then got into our craft mode and I taught the girls how to make these super easy and super stylish headbands.
Elle was a bad dog in hers!

The two love birds having a drink together.
(Look at Reese playing footsie with him!)

The trip ended at the park.
Of course it was a beautiful day the day we left.

The babies loved the swing.
Reese wasn't too sure of it until we put Ike in with her then she was just fine!

We had the best time being lazy, eating what ever the heck we wanted and making daily Sonic runs for our VDC's (Vanilla Diet Coke).
We shopped, went to the movies and even THOUGHT about going to the gym once or twice but never made it...
why would we... we were on vacation.

Thanks Egan's for having us out again and making us feel at home!
Bentley fortunately stayed home with daddy.
I don't particularly think it is a vacation with both kids in tow.
We did miss them both very much though!

toilet water.

The girls lured Samantha into the bathroom while the adults weren't watching.

When Mel realized "Mantha" wasn't by her side she went to go find her and this is what she found.

The two bullies thought it would be so fun to fill the watering can with toilet water and pour on little Mantha's head. Bentley was holding her in position while big sis would dump.

Manthy was drenched... and she didn't even put up a fight.

Doesn't that still qualify as a "swirly"?

Oh and yes there was pee in the water.
(we are rude for taking pictures before saving her... i know!)
