We were hoping our little babe would crawl before her first birthday and she did! She started crawling for Jeff on Feb. 16th. We are so happy to see her develop as she should!

32 reasons i love jeff

ok i know its cheezy, but i thought since i didn't really do anything for jeff for valentines i would write a list of all the reasons i love him. he loves this kind of stuff!!

1. jeff is a really good dad.
2. he is an awsome husband.
3. he doesn't mind the yucky girl stuff cause he grew up with 4 of them.
4. he loves being active (golf, snow boarding, racquet ball, basketball, etc.)
5. i never really see him study but he still gets good grades.
6. he loves my family.
7. he is very non judgmental.
8. he loves girly magazines.
9. he loves all the tv shows i love (except for maybe a few.)
10. gets along with anyone.
11. is up for anything.. almost anything.. not shopping!
12. he loves ice cream.
13. called his underwear panties until he was 10. (sorry jeff!)
14. tell's me how pretty i am every day.. seriously, every day!
15. just bought me a new car!
16. he can find any bargain on the internet.
17. he talks to his mom or his sisters everyday.
18. he changes poopie diapers no problem!
19. he will do anything for me. like, hand me a cup that is sitting right in front of me.
20. he loves all of my friends!
21. his dancing! ok maybe not!
22. loves the outdoors.
23. has a secret obsession with putting together budgets.
24. he loves baths, bubble baths (did i mention he grew up with girls?)

31. he takes care of me the same way he did when we first got married!

Hi everyone!

I was bored on Valentines because Jeff was at school all night so I decided to start a blog. This is just a quick update of our first year with Bentley, it has been amazing! I actually had fun putting this blog together, it is probably the closest I will get to scrapbooking. I didn't really know how to work it at first so I have a lot of titles.

Cruisin In the Caribbean

Jeff and I took our moms on a cruise in January. It was so nice to sleep in and lay out in the sun!
We got 30 minute massages for $10 each right on the beach of Costa Maya. BARGAIN!!
Jeff's dad's art was in the gallery on the ship. We got to watch some live auctions, it was pretty cool!
Sting ray city. My mom Sue, me, Jeff, Pat Williams, Marianne Williams, and Jeff's mom Sandy. The sting rays were huge, we girls were freaking out for the first 5 minutes then we calmed down to enjoy them. It was one of the coolest things we did on the cruise!

Rock climbing

We went rock climbing with Kellie and Greg. Bentley was such a good trooper, she let us climb for a couple hours.
Jeff and I are beginners, I wasn't very good but Jeff did awsome. It's fun to have something to do together in the winter since I don't like to snow board or play raquet ball.
Kellie and Greg are the experts, they are are climbing trainers!

Bentley loves hanging out on the floor, we are hoping she will start crawling before her first birthday! She has less than a month.

Bentley is 11 months old. I can't believe how fast the first year has gone by! She has been so much fun, I never knew I could love someone so much!

My sister Melanie and her baby Alexandra. Bentley is 2 1/2 months older than Alex but they are the same size, actually Alex is taller than Bentley. Bentley is catching up though! Mel's due date was one week before mine, we don't really know why Bentley decided to come so early.

Friends

Marianne and Jack Christensen came to visit since we were stuck cooped up inside during RSV season. Jack is only 3 weeks older than Bentely... so funny!

Bentley was born in March almost 3 months early. She weighed 2 1/2 pounds. It was up and down alot but for the most part she did so good, she was a little fighter!

Holding her was a little scary because she was so little and had so many cords attached to her but we both needed it! Look how little that face was! aahh!

We took Bentley home after 6 weeks of the NICU rollercoaster. It was a little scary leaving with her because she only weighed 4 lbs.
