say goodbye to DIAPER BUTT.
Bentley started potty training herself a few days ago. I thought it would be a while for that but she all of the sudden took interest in her little potty, and actually goes in it not just sits on it. I ask her throughout the day if she needs to go and she always does (usually). Then she started telling us when she needed to go. This is how it went the other day.
Bent came up to Jeff and said in her own little language "i.d." (she uses that term for many things, we don't really now why) and then grabbed her diaper. Jeff said "you need to go potty?" and Bent replied "up", which means yes. So to the potty they headed, then when they almost made it Bent stopped and and said "uh-oh". Poor Bent she has been doing really good but sometimes doesn't make it in time. Jeff took off her diaper and put her on the potty anyway.
She thinks she is so big that she assumes it is her duty to dump the pee pee out in the toilet or the sink. It usually ends up all over the counter or floor. Fun for me!

Hey Di! I came across your blog and I just had to tell you that your little girls are so gorgeous! You look like you are doing great and it's good to see pics of your family! I hope you don't mind me peeking!!:)
What the...where did your last post go? I was gonna write something funny - oh well. Good job for potty training yourself Bent!!!
Binkies are only a real problem when your kindergartner sneaks it to school in his pocket and has to take frequent "bathroom" breaks so that he can get a fix off his binky.
